Nordic countries together have approved Vision 2030 aiming at becoming the most sustainable and integrated region in the world. There is a need to create innovative solutions for getting everyone on board considering the speed of development, complexity of challenges, and increasing competence gaps. How to ensure relevant competences for work and participation across Norden? The countries seek solutions nationally and through collaborative efforts.
The presentation will showcase several Nordic initiatives that include cross-sectoral collaboration and multiple stakeholder engagement:
- Innovative, flexible and organic models for competence development at workplaces for continuous development.
- Recognition of non-formal and in-formal learning outputs for better inclusion.
- Moving from unskilled to skilled employees for solving the labour force shortages in specific branches.
